sf.citi’s Guide to the November Elections
With the November elections rapidly approaching, we at sf.citi are committed to ensuring our members and San Francisco voters are thoroughly informed ahead of election day. To aid in this effort, we’ve updated our website’s free election guide to serve as a resource providing essential information ahead of election day, including key dates for the upcoming November General Election, details on ranked-choice voting, pathways for ballot measures, and additional external resources. Our goal is to empower our community with the knowledge needed to actively participate in the electoral process this fall, and we encourage everyone planning to vote to visit this comprehensive guide and equip themselves with the tools necessary for active and well-informed engagement. “SF AND TECH THROUGH THE MEDIA LENS”
This month, sf.citi, and our excellent member Instacart, hosted an engaging discussion, “SF and Tech through the Media Lens,” where we brought together leading Bay Area journalists Marisa Lagos from KQED’s “Political Breakdown,” Roland Li of the SF Chronicle, Adam Shanks from the SF Examiner, and Kevin Nguyen from the SF Standard. Our distinguished panel shed light on the transformative role of tech in revitalizing downtown, topics shaping public perceptions and highlighting critical yet often overlooked issues in San Francisco’s resurgence. The event served as an invaluable opportunity for our members, offering unique media insights and fostering meaningful dialogue while strengthening collaborations between the tech community and journalistic leaders. We eagerly anticipate our next gathering to continue these important discussions and further connections.
MEMBER SPOTLIGHT: AT&T
This month, we’re proud to highlight AT&T for their generous donation of 50 laptops to Curry Senior Center’s Tech and Wellness Hub. This donation is a big step towards improving the digital divide within San Francisco’s senior community. The new laptops, within the existing tech navigators from Curry Senior Center, are set to create new opportunities for their seniors to become more well-connected and break down barriers to the online world.
