Our Vision

sf.citi strives to strengthen San Francisco’s reputation as a leader in both technological innovation and social responsibility.

Our Mission

Connecting San Francisco’s tech leaders, nonprofit organizations, and city policymakers, sf.citi advocates innovation and collaboration to create meaningful change around pressing issues affecting the San Francisco community.

Our Work

Since its founding, sf.citi has worked hard to drive consistent dialogue between our city’s technology sector and local lawmakers. Not only does this collaborative approach engage tech leaders in solving our city’s most difficult issues, it helps uphold the San Francisco legacy of supporting innovative thinking and serving all San Franciscans.

2018 ANNUAL REPORT

Seven Years Supporting Tech

“As tech’s presence in San Francisco grew, so did the need for sf.citi—that is to say, a voice to advocate on behalf of both the city’s burgeoning technology industry and the larger San Francisco community. . . . Let us not forget that San Francisco’s history is deeply rooted in pushing the cusp of innovation for the rest of the United States and even the world. At sf.citi, we hope to honor this tradition by embracing the many positive changes technology can bring, all while helping our members meaningfully engage with the community we love and in which they operate: our beloved San Francisco.” -Steve Sarner, sf.citi Board Member

Bridging Tech and Politics

“Many people ask what sf.citi does. To answer this question, I return to my original metaphor. sf.citi is the bridge that connects tech, policy, and community.” – Jennifer Stojkovic, sf.citi Executive Director
