We are excited to announce our 6th Annual Future Grads Program for 2017. In partnership with the San Francisco Police Foundation, every year sf.citi provides local high school students with an 8-week, paid internship at a San Francisco-based sf.citi member tech company. The program allows students to engage with and learn from members of our tech community. In the past, our member companies have found the program to be a rewarding way to provide mentorship to our city’s youth, as well as give back to our community. The best part is: sf.citi pays the student stipend for our member companies so participation is free.
For more information about sf.citi membership and/or the Future Grads program contact kiran@sfciti.org or check out our website.
It’s Time to BUILD
We are proud of our member company, LinkedIn, for partnering with the Life Learning Academy to host LET’S BUILD: A Happy Hour Benefit. Life Learning Academy (LLA) is a SFUSD charter high school dedicated to serving San Francisco’s most disconnected youth.
Where: LinkedIn, 222 2nd St. San Francisco, CA 94105
When: Thursday, April 6, 2017 from 5:30 to 7:30pm | RSVP Here
The purpose of the happy hour is to raise awareness for LLA’s newest initiative, LLABUILD, which is committed to building the first-of-its kind public, no-fee boarding academy in the country for disconnected teens facing unsafe and unstable living conditions. Please join us to learn more about Life Learning Academy’s vision to provide housing for students as they work to finish high school and achieve their future goals. Drinks will be provided.
Music to Our Ears…
