Members,
It has been 38 days since we first spoke on the Trump administration’s immigration ban. As an organization dedicated to bringing San Francisco together as ‘One City’, we unequivocally and unwaveringly oppose any measure designed to target or persecute our community members. Whether it be discrimination based on country of origin, religion, sexual orientation, or otherwise, this is not who we are as a city or country.
When we seek to divide our community, we transcend past issues of industry, political affiliation, and party lines. This recent immigration order is a direct attack on human rights and we at sf.citi will not support any legislation, federally or locally, to condone this attack.
Now more than ever, we firmly believe that we must come together to unite.
Please join us with the ACLU of Northern California this Thursday, March 9th as we discuss the future of our city and country in light of recent actions taken by the Trump administration. Senior leaders from across the tech industry including Airbnb, Zendesk, AdRoll, and more will discuss how we can move forward together in this uncertain time.
Sincerely,
The sf.citi Board of Directors
