Back to School is Around the Corner
Missing the days of back-to-school shopping for brand new trapper keepers and fresh gel pens? Sign your company up to adopt a school through Circle the Schools and you can relive that back-to-school magic by helping current SFUSD students start the school year. Since sf.citi, the San Francisco Education Fund, and SFUSD launched the program in 2014, Circle the Schools has forged dozens of partnerships between San Francisco companies and local schools. These partnerships provide employees the opportunity to connect with students at their circled school by participating in 3-5 service projects each school year and joining activities designed to ensure students have the skills and resources to thrive after graduation. There are more than 100 public schools in San Francisco – join today and help us circle every school!
To join Circle the Schools this year, contact Jennifer Stojkovic at jennifer@sfciti.org by Friday, August 4th.
Welcome New sf.citi Member Postmates
sf.citi is excited to welcome our newest member company, Postmates. Postmates makes our community more accessible–connecting public school teachers to office supplies, families of the elderly to health & wellness products, and San Franciscans to their favorite tacos. We look forward to working with Postmates as they continue to empower the local community! Welcome, Postmates!
sf.citi Members Meet with Supervisor London Breed
In the latest installment of our Lunch and Learn series, sf.citi hosted a fruitful conversation between our members and the President of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors at Microsoft’s Mid-Market offices. At the lunch, Supervisor Breed discussed her policy agenda and the ways in which tech leaders can work with the City to make a positive impact. Thank you to Supervisor Breed for her time and to all of our members who attended the event.
