Steering Tech Leadership in 2024
In 2024, sf.citi will be capitalizing on our momentum from a productive 2023, particularly as San Francisco navigates a critical election year. Our strategy includes assembling a consortium of tech leaders and specialists, utilizing their insights to shape and amplify the tech community’s voice in local policy dialogues. This effort is crucial in a year when political decisions will significantly impact the technological landscape of our city.
We will remain dedicated to forging new partnerships in San Francisco’s diverse tech sector. By connecting with up-and-coming business leaders, we aim to catalyze innovation and collaboration across different fields, reinforcing San Francisco’s status as a tech hub.
Our philanthropic vision for 2024 focuses on leveraging technology for community betterment in San Francisco. We will concentrate on initiatives that promote education, environmental sustainability, and public health, aiming to make a tangible difference in the lives of San Franciscans. This year, sf.citi is not just anticipating growth but is actively working towards shaping a more innovative and inclusive future for our city.

SF March Ballot Measures: What to Expect
The upcoming San Francisco election on March 5th, 2024, is more than just a routine vote; it’s a chance for citizens to directly shape the city’s response to critical issues such as public safety, housing, ethics, and education by deciding on local ballot measures. Among the decisions to be made are a housing bond for affordable development, enhancing police staffing and recruitment, creating tax exemptions for property conversions, and reforming city ethics laws. Measures on policing technology and public health initiatives, specifically drug screening for certain assistance recipients, as well as educational curriculum changes, will also appear on the ballot.
San Francisco voter ballots will be mailed out starting next Monday, February 5th, and the deadline for voter registration or updates is February 19th. sf.citi will be issuing ballot endorsements soon, providing members with valuable insights and recommendations on these pivotal issues. This election represents a critical juncture for sf.citi members to voice their opinions on topics that will shape our industry for years to come.
