sf.citi is proud to serve as a community partner for World Summit AI USA, taking place June 18–19 at the Fort Mason Center. For the first time, this global summit will be hosted in the United States—right here in San Francisco—bringing together more than 100 speakers and thousands of AI leaders from across the world. With panels and workshops focused on responsible AI governance, misinformation, sustainability, healthcare, and more, World Summit AI is shaping the next chapter of global innovation. Notable speakers include leaders from OpenAI, Google DeepMind, and the U.S. Department of State.

COMCAST SPOTLIGHT AT LATINAS IN TECH SUMMIT
This month, sf.citi board member Comcast hosted the Noche VIP gathering at the annual Latinas in Tech Summit. The event brought together civic, tech, and nonprofit leaders for a timely conversation on the role of AI policy in building a more inclusive future for the tech industry. The broader summit features keynotes, career networking, and workshops designed to support and elevate Latina professionals in the tech industry.
SAN FRANCISCO’S TURNAROUND FEATURED IN THE TELEGRAPH
San Francisco’s evolving recovery story is gaining attention beyond the Bay. In a recent feature by The Telegraph, journalists explored how civic reform, grassroots activism, and the growth of the AI sector are shaping a new chapter for the city. sf.citi was contacted as a representative of the tech industry, and our Board Chair, Rebecca Prozan, was quoted in the piece discussing how AI is helping drive new investment and optimism in San Francisco. From back-to-office momentum to declining crime and renewed business confidence, the article captures the complex but forward-moving dynamics of a city in transition.

ADVOCATING FOR MODERN COMMUNICATIONS INFRASTRUCTRURE
Earlier this month, sf.citi submitted public comment to the California Public Utilities Commission in support of modernizing our state’s communications infrastructure. With only 5% of California households still relying on copper landline service, sf.citi believes it’s time to accelerate the shift toward fiber networks. These investments are essential—not only for faster internet, but for advancing digital equity, remote learning, and economic opportunity. We support the efforts of our member companies, including AT&T, and partners in building the infrastructure needed to power California’s digital future.
