I am providing a brief update on Supervisor Safai’s Cafeteria Legislation and Supervisor Peskin’s TNC Tax.
Cafeteria Legislation
Though Supervisor Safai’s Cafeteria Legislation was anticipated to be heard at today’s full Board of Supervisors meeting, it was moved back to the Land Use and Transportation Committee meeting as amendments were deemed substantive.
The Cafeteria Legislation will be heard at the upcoming Land Use and Transportation Committee meeting on Monday, July 29th. Assuming the legislation passes from the committee to the full Board, it will likely be heard before the full Board of Supervisors on Tuesday, July 30th. Please note that the Board of Supervisors goes on summer legislative recess from July 31st to September 2nd.
TNC Tax
Regarding Supervisor Peskin’s TNC Tax, the item was passed unanimously and confirmed for the November 2019 ballot.
