Dear sf.citi members,
sf.citi continues to grow and diversify its membership, reflecting the dynamic landscape of San Francisco’s technology ecosystem. In 2025, we welcomed Anthropic and Lime as new members, expanding our reach into the fields of artificial intelligence and urban mobility.
Our Board of Directors also grew stronger, with new additions from Comcast, Waymo, and Zoox, joining long-standing leaders from Google, Microsoft, AT&T, and Goodreads. This mix of established and emerging innovators reinforces sf.citi’s role as the convening voice of the city’s tech industry.
We also celebrated the leadership and contributions of Rebecca Prozan and Kate O’Sullivan, whose service on the board helped shape sf.citi’s advocacy and community engagement efforts. Their commitment to bridging public policy and innovation continues to inspire the next chapter of our work.
Rebecca Prozan
For 11 years, Rebecca Prozan has helped guide sf.citi and shape San Francisco’s tech policy landscape. As a founding board member and longtime Board President, she has been instrumental in navigating some of the city’s most consequential policy debates, ensuring sf.citi remains a constructive partner to both the tech industry and local government.
Her leadership anchored sf.citi’s work on issues ranging from shuttle bus policy and the proposed tech cafeteria ban to major tax proposals—including the pivotal 2024 Prop M reform. Throughout the pandemic and the city’s evolving relationship with remote work, Rebecca championed innovation while prioritizing collaboration with elected officials and community stakeholders.
Beyond sf.citi, Rebecca brings a distinguished two-decade career in public service, nonprofit leadership, and tech public affairs. As Google’s Director of West Region Government Affairs and Public Policy, she oversaw municipal engagement across 11 states, guided multi-million-dollar regional investments, and developed programs linking technology with community needs.
Rebecca’s steady guidance has helped ensure sf.citi remains a responsive, forward-thinking force in shaping a responsible and engaged tech community. We are deeply grateful for her service and leadership.
Kate O’Sullivan
This year, we also extend our sincere thanks to Vice Chair Kate O’Sullivan as she concludes her service on the sf.citi Board. With nearly two decades at Microsoft and leadership spanning external affairs, digital diplomacy, and competition policy, Kate has been a thoughtful and respected voice within our community.
Her partnership has strengthened sf.citi’s role as a convener in the tech sector, helping ensure member perspectives are represented with nuance, collaboration, and integrity. Kate’s insight and dedication have made a lasting impact, and we are truly appreciative of her contributions.
Warm regards,
sf.citi Board of Directors
