A CONVERSATION ON SF’S BLOOM LOOP
This month, Airbnb hosted sf.citi’s public policy briefing, The Bloom Loop – San Francisco’s Grassroots Revival, featuring some of San Francisco’s leading community organizers: Manny Yekutiel (Manny’s and Civic Joy Fund), Robbie Silver (Downtown SF Partnership), Ixchel Acosta (Avenue Greenlight), and Katy Birnbaum (Into the Streets), moderated by San Francisco Supervisor Joel Engardio. Through a vibrant discussion, these panelists highlighted how community-led initiatives are breathing new life into neighborhoods, supporting small businesses, and reigniting civic pride—marking the beginning of San Francisco’s ‘Bloom Loop.’ They shared stories of local events that have successfully reactivated our streets, fostered collaboration, and drawn people back to downtown. We encourage you to check out events (found in the links above) hosted by these organizations and join in celebrating San Francisco’s revival.
