This week sf.citi welcomes a new team member, profiles a Circle the Schools partnership, and shares a few words about our core values.
sf.citi welcomes Jennifer Stojkovic to our growing team this week. As Assistant Director at sf.citi, Jennifer will drive the day-to-day operations of sf.citi and, in collaboration with the Managing Director, provide organizational strategy and growth. Prior to joining sf.citi, Jennifer worked in both the tech and non-profit industries. She specializes in performance evaluation and capacity-building in the non-profit industry and has spoken nationally and internationally about her work. A Canadian by birth, Jennifer spent four years in sunny Florida before relocating to foggy San Francisco. We are lucky to have her!
Circle the Schools: A Fresh Look for Hoover Middle School
This week we are highlighting the Success Specialists team at Salesforce and its Circle the Schools partner Hoover Middle School. Over the last week 49 Salesforce employees spent 5 days re-painting the school’s library with a fresh, green look. Recently the Salesforce team also hosted an Hour of Code event at Hoover, proving they have both brains and brawn to contribute to this Sunset school. Watch their progress above.

Let’s Care for All San Franciscans
Core to our mission here at sf.citi is the idea that we take a “One City” approach to the work that we do. For us, this means building a shared sense of community and civic responsibility between San Francisco’s technology companies and its residents — all of them. We will never tolerate the kind of unfair commentary about individuals experiencing homelessness that we saw in the news last week. We know such remarks do not reflect what San Francisco is all about — giving back, fostering community, and providing for those in need. We know this is also not what the tech community here is all about, either.
If you want your company to get more engaged with sf.citi’s efforts, email us at info@sfciti.com and learn more about our 2015 accomplishments here.
