sf.citi aims to make San Francisco a better place to live and work by improving and strengthening San Francisco’s transportation system. We champion innovative transportation technologies that support the existing network of public and regional transit options available to San Francisco residents and visitors alike.

• sf.citi supports innovation and encourages the expansion of existing and future alternative modes of transportation—including but not limited to autonomous vehicles, e-scooters, bike share, pooled rideshare, and more—to make transportation a more equitable experience for all demographics and help bridge the first mile/last mile gap created between commuters’ transit stops and their final destination. 
• sf citi supports solutions designed to mitigate traffic congestion in San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area through continued innovation, collaboration and investments in existing transportation systems, including congestion pricing regimes that advance equity, are fairly applied to both private and commercial traffic, are created with input from local communities, and encourage and incentivize the use of sustainable and shared modes of travel. 
• sf.citi endorses prudent transportation policy in San Francisco that promotes the development, adoption, and acceptance of autonomous vehicle technologies to advance the City’s safety, environmental, and equity goals. We discourage the creation of undue regulatory and fiscal burdens that deter, hinder, or prohibit the adoption of such technology as it is brought to market.
• sf.citi supports making streets and sidewalks safer and more accessible for all modes of transportation—existing and future—to help reach San Francisco’s Vision Zero goal of eliminating traffic fatalities by 2024, including but not limited to expanding the City’s network of bike paths, creating more car-free zones like the Better Market Street project, and investing in curb modernization through dynamic pickup and loading zones.
• sf.citi endorses the creation of a regional Transit Network Manager that will oversee, support, and integrate the Bay Area’s 27 fragmented transit agencies and streamline processes to allow for a more coordinated, efficient, and equitable regional transportation system.
• sf.citi supports the development of clean-energy infrastructure that will help San Francisco achieve its climate change goal of creating more sustainable forms of transportation, and encourages policies that can meaningfully contribute to the goals of the City’s Electric Vehicle Roadmap.
• sf.citi recognizes the dire economic straits San Francisco transit entities find themselves in as a result of the pandemic, and supports dedicated funding for these agencies as well as the establishment of a working group across all stakeholders to better inform a more equitable and efficient transportation system throughout the Bay Area.
